The towns of Cáceres Jarandilla de la Vera, Jerte, Malpartida de Plasencia, Torrejoncillo and Valdefuentes will receive support from €100,000 of the Provincial Council of Caceres for the construction or improvement of their soccer fields.
The President of the Diputación de Cáceres, Charles, Charlessigned an action protocol with the mayors of these five municipalities in the province, by which they benefit from a nominal subsidy for carrying out this work, for what they have until the end of 2023.
In his speech, the president of the Provincial Council of Cáceres pointed out that in this way “with the role and powers of the council, which is to deal with the municipalities”, he said. After which, he stressed that he wanted to have “more economic capacity to give an even greater and more considerable response”.
Also present at this event was the Deputy of Culture and Sports, Fernando J. Grande Canoas reported by the Provincial Council of Cáceres in a press release.
This involves aid of 100,000 euros which, in the case of Torrejoncillo stands at 150,000 euroswhich will be transferred to these places for the drafting of the aforementioned project and the procurement and justification of the works, according to Carlos Carlos.
More specifically, and according to the document signed between the provincial institution and the five presbyteries concerned, the expenses attributable to this nominative subsidy may be infrastructure expenses, attributable to Chapter 6, whether new investments or of substitution ; acquisition of furniture or equipment of any kind or entityintended for public use or service in facilities or spaces belonging to the municipality, and other expenses corresponding to this Chapter 6.
Regarding the local entities benefiting from this nominative aid, the president of the provincial institution specified that the five municipalities have made a “express requestboth to the Provincial Council of Cáceres and to the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Sports to cover the need for resources that “improve and promote sporting activity», and specifically football, because of the tradition and the high demand for practitioners of this sport in these cities.
In this sense, the Mayor of Torrejoncillo, Jose Ricardo Rodrigospecified that this aid “will allow them to start improving the football pitch, since there are more than 120 children and adults who will be able to enjoy renovated spaces“.
